Time to Brag about my own Kids!

Yesterday was the middle school golf district tournament and the Sacred Heart Girls team WON the title and will advance to Regionals next Monday. Alexa and Maya are both on the team along with their friend Francis, and Luis is the coach. Alexa WON the individual title as well! Congratulations to my family!

SEC Awards

Southeastern Conference (SEC) Awards were announced today and I'm proud to say three Lady Vols received awards. Nathalie Mansson was named First Team All-SEC, Diana Cantu was named to the Second Team and Erica Popson made the Freshman Team. We didn't have a good Conference Championship, but Erica shot 5 under par, to finish in a tie for first. She ended up losing on the 2nd play off hole which was a heartbreaker. But it was an awesome finish anyway!

April Fool's Day

Okay, so my team got me good! I'm a stickler for our uniforms every day. We dress exactly alike, because Adidas provides us a bunch of great stuff, so I want us to always look our best! Every tournament I type up a uniform list with what we're wearing head to toe each round. So yesterday I get down to breakfast in what I THOUGHT we were wearing. Well player after player comes down in the black uniform, so I questioned the first couple girls, but then rushed upstairs to quickly change! I pulled off my sweater and cap in the elevator and ran to my room. When I was just about changed, my phone rang -- HA HA - April Fools! They all did have the correct uniform packed up to change in the bus. VERY FUNNY girls! I have to admit, they got me!

We played at the University of Georgia last week, where they have an egg toss and fishing contest before the first round - here are some photos from the day!
